I have realized that no matter how much I try i just cannot write consistently. though in my head i have written pages and tweets
This was a milestone year for me. the year started at a high note which was unexpected.
The highlight of this year were my three trips – 2 to Bangalore and one to Delhi.
The first Bangalore trip in Feb set the ball rolling for this year and it became one consistent theme for the entire year. Thanks to Aditya Sengupta for helping the ball roll and get started.
The entire year I have done two things mentoring and building.
Kickstarted mentoring with Stonehill school in Feb followed by some amazing schools in Delhi and Bombay. Thank you Namita Thapar and Thapar’s entrepreneurship academy for the opportunity.
I haven’t actively coded in a decade now. my roles gave me lil time to do that. this year I was back in the trenches. and i realized it was fear which was holding me back. Thanks to Udit, Arpit and Atul for being there to help me figure out stuff.
First thing I had to build was an ai powered invoice processing engine (poc) for BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited). Took me a bit to get going. but was fun and it worked like a charm.
Spent 3 months trying to build ai powered company analysis tool. built multiple engines and all failed giving the results as expected. played around with vector dbs, transformers etc…
Made some new friends chatgpt, deepseek, lovable and openrouter. they are fantastic. can ask them anything. and not be judged 🙃
and YouTube. the amount of content i have watched in 6 months would be more then what i must have done in my lifetime. watched everything from ai to networking to setting up servers to fantastic houses around the world.
Next in the list was building some real products.
The idea was to build either tools or curated content products. of the 12 odd decided to build 5 before year ends.
Managed to build 7! Finally have my company website. apart from that built
Overall a very productive year. Shall continue building.
Looking forward for 2026.
