Got an email from Arpit with this snapshot. Worth a read for everyone… Its part of the Economic Times Awards for corporate excellence campaign.
I will just type a few lines
Wake Up India.
It’s Time To
Not Go To Work.
It’s Time To Get People
To Work For You.
Don’t Be An Engineer
Just Because You Have
A Degree In Engineering. Do What You
Think You’re Good At. And You’ll Be Good
At What You Think. Start Something
That’s Your Own. Where You Cant Be
Sacked. And You Certainly Can’t Quit.

Narayan and Sudha Murthy have always inspired – whatever they may do. When the whole world is saying, ‘Stick to the job you have, don’t be too demanding, etc’, trust Mr Murthy to come up with something different!! Am waiting to hear some stories of how the crisis led people to take up what they love doing… this is probably the best time for a sabbatical…

God has created two types of people to lead and to be lead. Before taking a decision you have to rate yourself. Luck is also a major factor.

ya! Even i got this forwarded email a few days ago.
I was very motivated and decided to leave my job and start my own company. But the next day , my company fired many people because of recession.Fortunately I was not there in the line of fire.
I have now postponed my plan until recession effect is reduced…

Thank you to letting us know the “POWER OF I”. The words are very simple and yet very very powerful. I started my own business and enjoying my life at the fullest. The interesting part now is I am getting what I deserve for and there is no barrier for that. Thanks again.
