Nariman house at Colaba is finally secured. 5 hostages and 2 terrorists were killed during the operation officially named “Black Tornado“.

Earlier in the day all hostages from Oberoi-Trident hotel were rescued and terrorists killed. One thing which scares me is that the terrorists were well dressed and spoke good english… they could have easily escaped along with other hostages…

From what i have heard the number of people shot dead in Oberoi hotel is far more from what appears and is seen in the TV channels.

The terrorists have attacked the town area (south bombay) this time. Two of the best hotels Taj and Oberoi are where the terrorists have taken hostage and gunshots were fired. This has been a coordinated terrorist attack with terrorists have fired gunshots and thrown grenades at multiple places at the same time (CST station, Metro, Cama hospital, Mazegaon dockyard road).

Why the hell are the politicians creating more stress for Police by coming to Mumbai! Yesterday we had to wait for 30 min just to get out of our lane cause police had cordoned entire area since our dear Sonia Gandhi was coming to Mumbai. Their presence is not necessary! As of 5:30pm NSG personnel are inside Oberoi-Trident hotel. There are gun shots being fired and blasts every few minutes. Each room is being checked by the Commandos. Its going to be a long procedure as there are 800 rooms at Taj hotel and 550 rooms at Oberoi-Trident.

A Polish hostage has just stepped out of Oberoi-Trident. News channels haunting him for sound bytes. He says tons of bodies on 16-17-18th floor!

Something lot of us had at the back of our minds… after the serial blasts all over India in the last 6-9 months when will the terrorists attack Mumbai… Never thought i would ever blog about something so gruesome as this. I pray for those who have had to go through the ordeal and have lost their loved ones.  Its about time Indian government took a hard stance against this.

I was wondering why there was police check post on my way home… Been checking the news since the last 2 hours…

• A Taxi Cab was blown to bits and pieces at Parle very close to the domestic airport and a Petrol pump at colaba was targetted.
• There are rumours of some blasts at Nepeansea Road one of the poshest area in Mumbai.
• At the moment i can see rooftop of Taj and lobby area of  Oberoi hotel on fire.
• News just in that 2 terrorists have been shot dead.
• A boat full of explosives has been found near Gateway of India…
• The terrorists at the Oberoi hotel are asking for US Citizens staying there.
• Fifth blast at Taj hotel!
